Terms & Conditions Requirements
Text messaging terms & conditions are required to secure an approved use case. They should be clearly labeled as such on your website, easily accessible, and on their own page. The terms & conditions must contain the following:
- Organization name
- The types of messages the recipient can expect to receive (account-related, informational, marketing)
- If your campaigns solicits donations, particularly if you register for the political or charity use case, it must be included in the opt-in language as one of the types of messages
- Message frequency details
- Message and data rates disclosure
- Instructions for requesting help (Text HELP for help, contact [email address] for help)
- Opt-out instructions (Text STOP to unsubscribe)
- The Terms & Conditions must be linked in the Contact Source Opt-in Language
