We’re excited to share some updates to help improve your experience with GetThru. In this newsletter, we’ll cover important changes to our group import process, temporary adjustments to support hours during our annual planning meeting, and strategies for improving your fundraising campaigns in 2025.
Faster Group Import Changes
We’re updating our group imports to be faster and more stable during peak times. This change will take place on Tuesday, January 7th, and will only impact contacts uploaded after that date.
What This Means for Your Exports
- Each phone number uploaded will have a unique contact ID in exports.
- If you are analyzing a phone number across multiple reports, use the phone number to connect across reports and not the contact ID.
No Impact to Opt-Out Lists
- This will not impact the way the system handles opt-outs.
- If an opted-out phone number is uploaded to a new group after the change, a new record with a unique contact ID will appear as opted out in exports.
Adjusted Support Hours: Annual Planning Meeting
From January 14-16, our team will participate in our Annual Company Planning Meeting. During this time, we will be adjusting our support hours to accommodate team travel and full participation in the planning meetings.

January 14-16 | 10 am - 3 pm | Chat closed; high-urgency tickets addressed. Low-urgency tickets receive estimated follow-up times. ThruTalk pacing monitored. |
January 17 | 11 am - 7 pm | Chat closed; high-urgency tickets only. ThruTalk pacing monitored. |
January 20 | 11am - 7pm | Open for all tickets and chats during adjusted hours. |
January 21 | 9am - 8pm | Return to regular support hours. |
