Introducing VAN Integration Management + GOTV Support Hours
With the 2024 General Election just around the corner, we’re pleased to announce a long-awaited and exciting new feature for our politics + advocacy clients:
Self-Service VAN Integration Management
GetThru now supports the ability for clients to manage their own integrations with the NGP VAN ecosystem. This includes EveryAction, VoteBuilder, SmartVAN/TargetSmart, and LAN. Account Owners + Admins can now add, remove, and view the status and configuration of their VAN API keys from the new Integrations page, under Account Tools.
This improvement will enable us to bring future integrations online more quickly and make them client-configurable from day one. If there is a different integration that would be valuable to your organization you can submit a request for our team to evaluate it from the Integrations page.
Provisioning-based Launching
Just a reminder that we are rolling out Provisioning-based Launching this week. Once it is enabled for your account, campaigns with Single-use phone numbers will not launch until the phone number is fully provisioned. During busy times, provisioning can take multiple hours. To prevent any delays due to provisioning we encourage you to use Dedicated Phone Numbers.
GOTV Support Hours
The GetThru Customer Experience Team will support extended ticket, chat, and ThruTalk calling hours for the 2024 U.S. General Election beginning the week of Monday, October 28th. Until then, we will continue to observe standard support hours.

- 9 am—11 pm ET (6 am—8 pm PT)
- ThruTalk managed calling until 9pm PT
GOTV Weekend Nov. 2-3
- 9 am—11 pm ET (6 am—8 pm PT)

- 8 am ET—midnight ET (5 am PT—9 pm PT)
- ThruTalk managed calling until 9pm PT
Final Four (Nov. 2-5) chat support availability will be extended to match the ticket support hours listed above for those days.
2024 Election New Account Request Deadlines
After October 31st, GetThru will no longer accept new requests for election-related ThruText or ThruTalk accounts. We want to ensure our clients are set up for success, and 10DLC vetting timelines make the likelihood of an approval in time to text for the election beyond that date very low.
