Choosing a Sending Type

Manual Send
Manual sending is the standard sending option within ThruText. Senders will send out each message individually by clicking the "Send" button. If you have not requested any specific sending type options for your account, this is the default setting option for initial messages and follow-up messages. It is the only sending option currently available for replies.
QuickSend
QuickSend is a feature that allows senders on a ThruText campaign to send all their initial messages or follow-up messages with one click. QuickSend works at about 10 messages per second, but can go faster depending on the sender's internet connection. Campaigns will only have this option in the senders section of the campaign if this feature is enabled at the account level.
Once enabled within an account, QuickSend can be toggled on and off from the Senders page at campaign creation or in an active campaign:
To start the QuickSend process, open the Messenger and click the "Send All" button:
Enabling or disabling QuickSend while users are in the Messenger will require a refresh of the page to see the updated button.
QuickSend works on follow up campaigns too!
Bulk Send
Bulk Send is a feature that allows admins on a ThruText campaign to send all their initial messages out from the Review step of campaign creation. When using Bulk Send, the initials will begin sending as soon as the "Bulk Send Now" button and confirmation box are clicked.
Click the "Bulk Send Now" button from the Review page to start the process:
Then click "Bulk Send Now" from the confirmation dialog box to finalize the request and initiate the sending process:
Bulk Send is set up to immediately send initial messages out, which means the initial message sending window and daily open hours must be available at the time of sending. If you attempt to Bulk Send outside of those hours, you'll receive a dialog box requesting an update:
The feature also must be utilized with a dedicated number. If you attempt to bulk send using a single use phone number, you'll see the following error:
Once the bulk send messages are sent, your campaign will go into a "bulk_sending" status. During that sending period, you cannot access the Campaign Details top tabs or action buttons. They will be disabled until the bulk sending process completes.
This feature is not available for follow-up messages, but you can utilize manual or QuickSend for sending follow-ups within the Bulk Send campaigns.
If any sender variable date is included when bulk sending initials, the campaign launcher will be listed as the sender for the messages.
