Navigating the GetThru Admin
This guide helps you navigate the GetThru Admin dashboard. You’ll learn how the Sidebar, Top Bar, and Dashboard work together so you can create campaigns, manage Groups and Users, and adjust account settings all in one place. We’ll start with an overview of the layout and then walk through each section.

Navigation Layout Overview
Use this overview to understand how the Sidebar, Top Bar, and Dashboard work together so you can find what you need fast. We’ll show where each part lives, what it’s for, and when you’ll use it, then you can jump into the detailed sections as needed.
- Sidebar (Left Menu) — The primary navigation for admins. Use it to move between ThruText, ThruTalk, and shared tools like Groups, Users, and Account Tools.
- Top Bar (Right Icons) — Quick shortcuts for notifications, Calling (ThruTalk), Messenger (ThruText), Support, and your profile, including Log Out.
- Dashboard (Home Screen) — Your starting point after sign-in, with links to common tasks and recent activity.
GetThru: This button will take you to the ThruText Dashboard if you are in the ThruText or shared tools section or to the ThruTalk Active Campaign Index if you are in the ThruTalk section.
ThruText: Dropdown for texting campaigns and related tools, explained in detail below.
Dashboard: This page shows your account landing page.
Account Name: The name of the account you are in.
View Active Campaigns and Create New Campaign: Quick buttons for ThruText campaigns.
View Active Groups and Upload New Group: Quick buttons for Group pages.
View Active Users and Invite New Users: Quick buttons for the User pages.
Usage: ThruText Account Activity with a recent months filter. For in-depth ThruText and ThruTalk activity, view your Usage Analytics page under the Account Tools drop-down.
ThruTalk: Dropdown for phone calling campaigns and tools; options are explained in detail below.
Groups, Users, and Account Tools: The shared admin tools section below explains these dropdown options.
Notifications (Bell): View recent alerts for your account. For details, review In-app Notifications in GetThru.
Calling: Go to your user-facing assignment page for calling campaigns. Learn more in ThruTalk Assignments.
Messenger: Go to your user-facing assignment page for texting campaigns. See Texting Assignments.
Support: Open this Help Center in a new tab. Review this guide for steps on Submitting and Checking Tickets.
Profile Menu: Open the profile menu from the top-right icon; select from the options. Select X to close.
Profile: Manage your profile. Review this guide for info on Editing Your User Profile.
Switch Organizations: Switch between your organizations if your profile is on additional GetThru accounts. For user-specific steps, check the guide Switching Between Organizations.
View All: If all your organizations are not in the menu, this will take you to the getthru.app/accounts page to view all the organizations to which your GetThru profile is attached.
Logout: Logout of getthru.app

ThruText
Use when you’re running texting campaigns, managing MMS media, handling opt-outs, setting recommended replies, registering 10DLC, or creating surveys.
- Dashboard: Takes you to the ThruText Admin Dashboard.
- Campaigns: Create and manage texting campaigns by status from the Campaigns menu.
- + Create New Campaign: Start a new ThruText Campaign. Review this guide for steps on Launching a ThruText Campaign.
- Active: View campaigns that are currently active. See the ThruText Campaign Index guide.
- Draft: View all campaigns in both the 'Draft' and 'Launching' statuses.
- Paused: View all campaigns in the 'Inactive' status.
- Archived: View all 'Archived' campaigns.
- ThruText Tools: Access texting-specific admin settings and utilities.
- Brand & Use Case Registration: Register your 10DLC messaging brand and use cases.
- Exports: Access account-level ThruText exports.
- Global Replies: Create default responses for common questions.
- Global Surveys: Create and manage survey questions that can be reused in any campaign in your account.
- Media Library: Upload and manage MMS media.
- Opt Out Manager: Manage opt-outs. Find more details in the guide Opt Out Management.
- Self Assignment: Let texters assign conversations to themselves.
ThruTalk
Use when you’re running calling campaigns, writing scripts, managing Do Not Call lists, reviewing call exports, or referencing the PatchThru Directory.
- Campaigns: Create or manage calling campaigns by status from the Campaigns menu.
- + Create New Campaign: Start a new ThruTalk calling campaign. See Launching a ThruTalk Campaign.
- Active: View campaigns that are currently active. See ThruTalk Campaign Index for details on each status index page.
- Draft: Review campaigns still being prepared.
- Archived: Find campaigns that are finished.
- Scripts: Scripts: Create and manage calling scripts. For steps, see the ThruTalk Scripts guide.
- ThruTalk Tools: Access calling-specific admin settings and utilities.
- Do Not Call: Add numbers to the Do Not Call list or export the full list.
- Exports: Run and download ThruTalk exports and review previously generated files.
- PatchThru Directory: Look up transfer targets for PatchThru. Learn more in the PatchThru Directory guide.
Shared Admin Tools
Use when you’re organizing contacts into Groups, inviting/managing Users, or updating account-wide settings like custom fields, integrations, phone number lookup, dedicated numbers, usage analytics, and voicemail.
- Groups: Groups are collections of contacts you can text or call; once created, you can target a Group with a campaign. Read more about groups in Groups Overview.
- + Create New Group: Use to add a group. Detailed steps are in Uploading a Group.
- Active: Shows all active groups. For a full walkthrough, open Group Index.
- External Contact Lists: Appears if your account has a VAN integration and lets you create VAN-synced groups. Our guide External Contact Lists for Group Creation has step by step instructions.
- Users: Invite and manage users and their access levels.
- + Create New Invitation: Use to invite users. For instructions and examples, see the guide Invitations.
- Active: Lists current users. For admin-specific steps, check Managing User Permission Levels.

- Permanent Invite: Provides a shareable link for onboarding new users. To get started, follow guide Toggling the Permanent Invitation Link On and Off.
- Account Tools: Account-wide settings and configuration.
- Custom Fields: Create, edit, and archive fields used by Groups. Learn more in Custom Fields.
- Integrations: Connect GetThru to external tools (currently VAN). See Integrations.
- Phone Number Lookup: Check whether a phone number appears in a group or campaign and see its Opt Out or Do Not Call status. For a full walkthrough, open Contact Phone Number Lookup.
- Dedicated Phone Numbers: Manage texting phone numbers for your account. Details in Dedicated Phone Numbers. (Available for US and UK accounts only).
